Summary:
We are seeking candidates with prior wiring experience, proficiency in using pneumatic and crimping tools, and the ability to read blueprints. The role involves assembling electrical components, wiring harnesses, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Job Duties: Interpret Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand the wiring requirements for specific projects. Wiring and Assembly: Assemble electrical components. Cable and Harness Assembly: Fabricate and assemble cables and wire harnesses, ensuring proper organization and connection of wires. Panel Wiring: Wire control panels, distribution panels, and electrical cabinets, ensuring all connections are secure and in compliance with safety regulations. Soldering and Crimping: Utilize soldering and crimping techniques to make secure and reliable connections. Properly utilize pneumatic and crimping tools. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the wiring process to ensure safety and compliance with standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to wiring diagrams, changes, and work performed. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with engineers, electricians, and other team members to ensure effective communication and smooth workflow during the assembly and wiring process. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in electrical wiring is a plus. Proven experience in electrical wiring, assembly, or related fields. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards. Proficiency in using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and crimping tools.
