Job Description
I. Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities
· Performs a variety of complex duties in wiring of all types of electric boxes and controls having a good working knowledge of electronics.
· Works in an efficient and safe manner.
· Works from wiring diagrams, prototypes, models or verbal instructions.
· Make conversions to existing electrical systems in a neat and orderly manner using necessary tools and test wiring arrangements.

II. Basic Qualifications
A. Education
· High School diploma or GED.
· Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components.
· Ability to interpret complex instructions and technical drawings.
· Trade knowledge equivalent to 2 years plus 2-3 years of vocational training.
B. Experience
· Read and interpret technical drawings to determine materials and assembly instructions. Use soldering, rivets, wiring, and support structures.
· Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, assemble circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and control panels.
· Knowledge of using hand and power tools such as wire cutters, crimping tools, and soldering irons.
· Exceeds all requirements of the basic electrical assembler position with over one year training in the assembler position or similar industry environment.
C. Other Requirements
· Requires the ability to plan and perform a sequence of operations where standard operation methods are available. Make general decisions in implementing engineering wiring instructions.
III. Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
· Lays out work sequence using material lists and blueprints.
· Prepares converted electric boxes and control and makes wiring installation to control boxes as required using such components parts as relays, terminal blocks, transformers and switches.
· Connects, solders various wires to complex circuit according to wiring diagrams, prototypes, models or oral instructions, using such tools as cordless drills, wire cutters, soldering iron, pliers, wrenches and screwdrivers.
· Maintain good housekeeping habits at all times.
· Conducts job performance in a safe manner.
A. Education or Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Technical course completion of basic electrical application

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data.
· Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
