JOB TITLE: Electrical Assembler COMPENSATION: up to $25.00 hourly D.O.E SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday HOURS: 7:00am-3:00pm LOCATION: Ann Arbor, Mi JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in general assembly techniques and procedures. The role involves performing various tasks such as soldering, wire crimping, wire splicing, wire wrapping, mounting electrical assemblies, and installing internal rails. The Electrical Assembler will work in a lab-type environment with temperature-controlled conditions, utilizing both hand tools and power tools, as well as machining equipment. Attention to detail, the ability to interpret assembly drawings, and a strong understanding of electrical assembly processes are essential for success in this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform electrical assembly tasks according to established procedures and quality standards. Utilize soldering techniques to join electrical components and wires. Crimp, splice, and wrap wires to ensure secure connections and proper insulation. Mount electrical assemblies and internal rails in accordance with specifications. Interpret and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to perform assembly tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and storage of tools and materials. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve assembly-related issues. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance assembly processes and productivity. Report any defects, malfunctions, or deviations in the assembly process to the appropriate personnel. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in hands-on electrical assembly. Proficiency in general assembly techniques and procedures. Strong soldering skills and the ability to achieve reliable connections. Knowledge of wire crimping, splicing, and wrapping techniques. Familiarity with mounting electrical assemblies and internal rails. Ability to interpret and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
