The Development Sciences Informatics group is looking for an individual to support the gRED organization, containing over 500 people, with implementations of informatics and data management solutions. This position will require a blend of informatics skills and business analysis in order to help deliver and support high quality solutions that provide value to the users. This position will primarily support expansion of a master data management system which provides critical metadata to consuming applications and end users to enable FAIR data.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Contribute to the delivery of informatics solutions that are cost effective, scalable, fit for purpose, and meet business requirements.Perform business analysis to understand and contribute to current and future needs of informatics systemsTranslate business needs into technical requirementsPartner closely with scientists, scientific researchers, developers, informatics engineers, informatics analysts, and data scientists/analysts to envision, implement, and support informatics tools and business processAccountable for documentation including, but not limited to, user requirements, functional and/or technical specifications, process flow diagrams, and training documentationDrives resolution of system or process issues.Provides consultation to customers regarding enhancement/improvement of current solutions and implementation of new solutions - both systems and processes.Competences and Qualifications:

Proven track record of leading business analysis for software implementations in a large scale organizationExcellent people and communication skills.Systems thinking skillsExperience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.Excellent people and communication skills.Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Google SuiteStrong understanding of the software development processBachelor's degree with 3-5+ years relevant experienceScientific and drug development life cycle experience is a plusExperience with metadata/data management and FAIR data is a plus

Required Skills : Biology degree or science background would be nice with strong Business Analyst experience. Life sciences experience would be great. On site 3 days a week in San Francisco. Biotech experience. Must be able to speak with scientists. Understanding development lifecycle. Communication is key on how they build out requirements with stakeholders. Software development knowledge is important for this role. Strong BA skills would be great! Please see job description/notes for further in depth details.
