Armada’s Supply Chain Engineering department is in search of talent interested in solving various types of problems for new clients. Typical supply chain solutions provided by Armada include: Network Optimization, Sourcing Optimization, large scale transportation / warehouse solutions, advanced analytics, and software solutions. Significant exposure to data visualization tools, and modeling tools, such as Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, will be required.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe core responsibility is to develop and communicate solutions for various parts of new clients’ supply chains. Critical aspects of the role involve: comprehending the problem, developing a method to quantify both the current scenario and possible solutions, and communicating the solution back to the client.The ability to structure, validate, and analyze this data for use in various types of analysis is critical to the success of the position.The role will require the use of various types of software to solve problems. Types of software include the following: Network Optimization (Llamasoft), Data Manipulation (SQL, Excel, ML), Data Visualization (Spotfire, Tableau, or similar).This role will own and lead long and/or complex engineering projects. Balancing these projects will require collaborating with clients and internal support to align their strategy and expectations with the considerations of other projects.The success of the role can be greatly enhanced through collaboration with fellow engineers, project partners, and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience RequirementMinimum:5-8 years of experience in supply chain modeling and data analysisBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Operations ResearchComfort in presenting analytical results to internal / external customersPreferred:8+ years of experience with data analysis, modeling, and consulting.Experience developing and/or utilizing logistics-related modeling tools such as Llamasoft Supply Chain GuruExperience in Transportation, Warehousing, and Inventory Management related projectsExperience with data visualization tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Power BIExperience in a consulting, sales, or business development roleLanguage and Technical Skills requirementAdvanced skills in Microsoft, Data visualization, Python, SQL, and optimization applicationsAbility to aggregate, manipulate, and automate data for efficient upload into supply chain modeling applicationsData-driven, fact-based, detail-oriented approach to analysis and problem solvingAbility to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with internal/external clientsStrong Project Management skills and ability to work independently within a team environmentPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
