is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, self-driven
Architect Construction Administration
with 7-10 years of experience in architectural or construction contract administration, specification reports, submittals, change orders and pay requests. This position will also lead and organize a group of construction administration staff.
Responsibilities include:Project administrative activities related to construction contract administration, coordinating the construction administration for Architects and Engineers, including field observation reports, submittals, RFI's, change orders and pay requests, etc.Review/distribute/maintain schedule of project submittal and, coordinate and respond to RFI'sCompile, evaluate and present feedback information related to necessary changes in construction documentsAdditional efforts may include attending project meetings, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes as required by contractCoordinating the needs of the architect and outside consultants such as structural, civil, and mechanical engineersReview submittal of and distribution of contractor's project drawings, warranties, and other post-construction submittals, construction change orders for contract conformance, and contractor's requests for paymentKnowledge of construction process idealExperience with architectural construction management software including Newforma or related software like ProCore or Submittal Exchange, etc.Q ualifications/Experience:
7-10 years of experience as a practicing Architect or similar experience as a Construction Project manager including 1-5 years of direct experience in Construction Administration related servicesBackground (ability to read) in construction documents, specifications, contracts, etc. is a bonus.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related softwareBluebeam or other PDF editing software knowledge a bonusStrong work ethic and communication skills, both written and verbalValid driver's license and personal vehicle
