Job Summary:Senior Helpers - Fairfax, a leading home care franchise in FAIRFAX, Virginia, is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This is a full-time individual contributor role in the healthcare/medical field. As a CNA at Senior Helpers, you will be responsible for providing quality care and support to senior clients in their homes. Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this position is $16 to $19 per hour, paid biweekly.- On-the-job training and career development opportunities
Responsibilities:
-Provide transportation to clients as needed- Assist senior clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting- Administer medications and perform basic medical tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the care team- Help clients with mobility and provide transportation for appointments or errands- Engage in meaningful activities and provide companionship to foster a positive and safe environment- Keep accurate records of care provided and communicate with the care team as needed
Requirements:- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Virginia- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or home care setting- CPR and First Aid certification- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards senior clients- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-
Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
