Responsibilities
Be a core member of a multidisciplinary team (Engineering, Product, and Design) focused on shipping impactful products for our customers - from new features to robust architecture supporting the overall quality of the end-user experience (Level 3)Think out of the box to implement high-performing, scalable solutionsParticipate in and/or lead code reviews and contribute to team-wide engineering initiatives (Levels 2 and 3 can lead these efforts)Keep up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in frontend and backend development, AWS services, and software engineering best practice.(Level 3)Participate in and/or lead the development of Micro UIs for our application. (Levels 2 and 3 can lead)Design, develop and maintain fast and responsive APIs built on AWS.Develop and manage secure data pipelines for our services.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of services.Mentor junior engineers
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in development on AWS or similar cloud highly desired5+ years experience writing reactive web apps in TypeScript, NodeJS, HTML/CSS. NextJS experience a bonus. (8+ for level 3)Experience building reactive JavaScript-based web apps with cross-browser compatibilityExperience implementing designs and integrating systems with modern design frameworks like MUI, Tailwind, etcExperience with RESTful API microservice designsWorking knowledge of databases, including MYSQL and NOSQL.
