Learn more at .About the roleWe are looking for a software engineer with expertise in ML-first behavior prediction and planning. You will develop ML-first behavior modules that can forecast the future motions of road users and predict their interactions. You will work closely with the perception team on areas such as training data generation, and with the planning team on ML-based planner development.In addition to your engineering contributions, by working in our dynamic and customer-focused team culture, you will contribute to and learn from best practices in the nascent autonomy industry. If you are hands-on and looking for a place to have a multiplying effect on making autonomous systems a reality, Applied Intuition is the place for you! At Applied Intuition, you will:Prototype, evaluate, refine, and deploy state-of-the-art ML algorithms that predict the future motion of the ego agent and other road users in the sceneLeverage established products at Applied Intuition to build the software and infra foundation for behavior-specific ML developmentCollaborate tightly with perception and planning engineers on many cross-team initiativesWe’re looking for someone who has:Experience with the end-to-end development cycle of deep learning modelsExpertise in subdomains such as modeling, input pipelines, evaluation, deployment, and model optimization3+ years of experience building production software using modern software practicesFluency in C++, or fluency in Python with intermediate experience in C++Nice to have:Publications in computer vision, NLP, or roboticsExperience with driver assistance or autonomous driving systemsExperience in evaluating and improving system-in-the-loop model performanceThe salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.Don’t meet every single requirement?
