Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", this position oversees and leads projects from the initial brainstorm and research phase, through implementation and production, and onto debriefing and reporting and may be assigned to portions of projects or be responsible for projects in their entirety. This role participates in assigning tasks, setting deadlines for teammates, and determining or working within project budgets and/or resource allocation requirements. In addition, this role continues to monitor project progress from conception to completion, making necessary adjustments to meet and exceed expectations. Exceptional project management skills create clear and concise plans, well-defined steps, and milestones, and build sequences & schedules. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Full-Time, On-Site position.

Competitive salary based on experience, starting at $57,600 per year.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute project management process components in partnership with leadership to include but not limited to:

Create project plan(s) and objective(s).Determine project scope(s).Establish project priorities and sequencing.Identify available resources and/or gaps.Define steps and milestones.Build project schedules and timelines.Debrief and conduct after action reviews.

Research, propose, and implement tools, software and/or platforms that maximize team efforts, project success and subsequent workflow to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.Understand resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner to include the management and oversight of Project Coordinator(s) and related positions.Assign jobs and projects to appropriate team members to manage overall workflow.Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.Prepare and present consistent project status, adjustments, and progress updates to affected stakeholders.Identify when deadlines are at risk and find proactive solutions and/or troubleshoot contingency plans.Measure and recommend performance improvement for project processes/areas.Manage press checks and Q&A processes when appropriate.Coordinate the creative and production activities including vendor management, estimates/bids, ordering, proofing and production and delivery logistics.Establish on-going tracking and reporting mechanisms regarding project output and success.Analyze team capacity continually ensuring optimum project load based on varying staff abilities and share with leadership when adjustments may be warranted.Participate in supervisory responsibilities when and where applicable.Attend special meetings, educational sessions and/or assist leadership in ongoing training of team members as needed.Assist the Marketing Team in its overall initiatives as requested.Utilize office computer and a host of other software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, InMotion, and/or related or comparable marketing project management tools and office equipment (copier, fax, etc.)Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four (4) year college or technical school along with eight (8) or more years related project management experience.Degree in the field of marketing, real estate, business, project management and/or related field preferred.This position requires strong project management skills, enthusiasm for The Villages and all it has to offer, excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to problem solve creatively to handle a variety of variables.Must be able to communicate orally confidently and effectively, in writing and electronically.High interpersonal skills are needed along with the ability to be resourceful, multi-task, set priorities, and manage processes effectively.Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable preferred.Experience seeing projects through a full life cycle with the proven ability to complete a project according to outline scope, budget and timeline required.
