We work with large volumes of data that is integral to the success of Clever and education of America’s students. The Infrastructure team enables Clever’s product teams to move fast while being resilient, efficient, and secure.A DAY IN THE LIFE:As the manager for the Infrastructure team at Clever, you'll lead a collaborative team of engineers tackling impactful and exciting challenges like:Leading the team that builds and maintains the underlying infrastructure of the Clever platform, processing tens of millions of data events and logins each day.Build interfaces and tools for the latest AWS and 3rd party technologies including DynamoDB, MongoDB, App Mesh, CloudFront, Fargate, Lambda, Golang, CircleCI, GitHub, and many more.Developing the skills and impact of the engineers who report to you through support and coachingDriving the definition and execution of new infrastructure features like deployment tools, monitoring, alerting, and logging. Whatever is needed to make developing services at Clever fast, easy, reliable, and secure.Collaboration with product teams, security, and finance to define our roadmap and next steps.Working with the other engineering managers and leaders to define engineering best practices and supporting their organizational adoptionRunning an agile development process to efficiently build world-class softwareUnderstanding and prioritizing the Clever engineering culture - see our blog post on Defining Clever's Engineering CultureTo get a sense of what we're working on, check out our engineering blog at engineering.clever.com.We work across the full-stack to create products that are robust and delightful for students, educators, and developers to use. We write frontend code in Node.js, TypeScript, and React with Redux and use Go for backend services. For candidates living in NYC and San Francisco, CA is between $195,400 - $229,900 . All final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise.
