Job Description:
Metas Solutions has an opening for an experienced Software Developer . To consult on a program initiative to establish a modernized public health (PH) data ecosystem, including efforts to modernize infrastructure and system needs to help federal, state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT). Global public health organizations and institutions make decisions about necessary improvements that will allow data to flow more seamlessly. Responsibilities:
Applying experience and knowledge in systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration to develop high-quality technical solutions for C# and SQL Server-based applications that meet or exceed client goals, delivered on time and within budget.Ensuring solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards.Participating in component and data architecture design and performance monitoring.Work closely with a scrum master, business analyst, and other development team members to review and coordinate new changes, including version upgrades, on an Agile team.Manage multiple objectives to completion within the bi-weekly sprint.Assist team members in development and collaboration and conduct performance tuning/troubleshooting.Contribute and independently document system design.Provide complete documentation of processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related program.Entry level to Senior level experience as a Software Developer or similar role.Five or more years of experience with C#, Asp.Net, ADO.Net, MVC, JavaScript, Java, CSS, Python, PHP, and others.Net-related technologies are utilizing the Microsoft Visual Studio.Net IDE.Five or more years experience with SQL Server, including SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, creating and implementing stored procedures, query optimization, views, user-defined functions, and indexing.Experience in related technologies such as regular expressions, XML, HTML, CSS, and RESTful services.Experience with quality assurance measures, including writing test plans, unit testing, system testing, and regression testing.Ability to articulate issues and concepts that are technical and non-technical.Proven experience with source control such as Team Foundation Server or Git.Experience with enterprise migration to cloud services such as Microsoft Azure.Familiarity with productivity software, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, O365 suite, Zoom, and others.Experience participating in an agile team, collaborating, and sharing coding and test responsibilities.
