This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with colleagues and clients, and supporting our litigation and bond administration advisory services. The Senior Associate III will provide research, data management, and data provisioning support on a variety of projects. Seeking a fast learner with the ability to pick up new tools and concepts quickly. This is a fully remote role.Responsibilities:Develop both production-level and ad-hoc technical solutions for data analysis, simulation, scraping, and warehousing to support mortgage risk analytics projects.Utilize and enhance existing Oakleaf products and tools (such as ETL, data scraping, damage calculations, etc.).Contribute to cloud application development efforts, including designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications on cloud platforms.Collaborate with internal and external users/clients to analyze business requirements and convert requirements to technical solutions.Develop a good understanding of the business's model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders.Use statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making.Mine, process, and analyze internal and external data using KPIs, business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence, and customer information.Support and contribute to external business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights used to advise the client and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant analytical/engineering disciplines is required.7+ years of quantitative analysis and software development experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a consulting environment.Strong, well-rounded Python skills to develop production-level data processing tools and analytics platforms.Strong SQL programming skills.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Experience with cloud application development, including deploying applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Nice-to-have skills: Java, C++, SAS, R, VBA, and/or Big Data experience.Ability and initiative to work independently and on a team to meet project goals.Understanding of mortgage loan data, particularly loan performance and mortgage servicing data.Familiarity with statistical methods, modeling, and analytical methodologies.This is a remote position and requires the ability to work in a home office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate home environment noise.Compensation & Benefits:The Oakleaf Group offers competitive compensation based on the candidate’s skills and experience.
