Financial Business Analyst

to support one of our large financial services clients. You will be part of an Agile team which supports a whole-loan valuation system and a single-family guarantee asset/obligation application.Responsibilities:

Manage the requirements and work with developers/testers to work out the details from the requirement.Use Jira to capture user stories, working closely with product owners.Utilize Jira/SQL/AWS, process flows, diagrams, and Visio.Work with Product Owners, Developers, and Testers.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is preferred; or commensurate experience. A PMP or PMI certification is a plus.4+ years relevant experience with 2+ years experience in the financial services industry required.Previous experience/education in financial theory, credit risk, market risk, or mortgage finance preferred; basic understanding of modeling, economics, and accounting is a plus.Jira and Agile experience required. Fundamental knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Excel required.Exposure to AWS or other cloud technologies.Experience gathering requirements and managing scope/features for business applications.Working knowledge of the data, models, and applications.Understanding of SDLC process and deliverables.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex, technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and counterparts across the organization.This is a remote position; must be comfortable working east coast hours and able to effectively work in a home office environment surrounded by moderate home noise.Compensation & Benefits
