What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct analyses using large administrative or national datasetsAnalyze data using standard statistical tools, methods, and techniquesPresent, interpret, and contextualize data for technical and non-technical audiencesCollaborate effectively with program staff, subject matter experts, and othersDevelop and follow data governance, peer review, and quality assurance policies and protocols
What Is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent plus three years of full-time experience in data analysis, research, compilation, and/or reporting workCoursework in data science, business analytics, computer science, or related field can be substituted for experienceExperience with data analytic software applications, SQL or programming languagesKnowledge of statistics and research methodologyExcellent writing skills and attention to detail
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience using statistical programs such as R, SAS, SPSS, or StataExperience with data visualization software or platforms such as Tableau or Power BIKnowledge or familiarity with child development or early childhood education
