or Instagram at @walkerwarnerarchitects.This position is based out of the San Francisco office and open to a hybrid schedule once onboarding and orientation is complete.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead the development of the design, working in collaboration with the clients, Principal and other members of internal and external teamsAct as the primary contact for all client communication; maintaining constant, proactive communication on schedule, budget, costs and general project statusLead and oversee the development of all details and coordination with project consultants & contractorsLead and develop junior team members in the production, organization and coordination of the BIM model and drawing sets as required for presentations, agency approvals and constructionCoach and mentor junior staff, share information and lessons learned to increase the firm’s common knowledgeDevelop and track project delivery plan, staffing, budget and scheduleResearch and specify materials, products and systemsAttend job site meetings, oversee RFI responses, submittals and shop drawing review during Construction AdministrationAct as a champion for office standards (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) with regular participation and willingness to engage in office programsOther duties as assigned and required of the project and or firmQualificationsAccredited degree in architectureTen or more years of related professional experience, including extensive design, technical and project managementCalifornia State Architect’s license preferredThorough knowledge of technical issues, design and techniques in Type V constructionExperience on high-end custom residential, hospitality, and workplace projectsDemonstrated 3D modeling/BIM proficiency (ArchiCAD preferred, but not required)Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and develop team membersExcellent verbal, written and graphic communication skillsCompensation and BenefitsWalker Warner Architects offers a competitive compensation package including fully paid health benefits for employees, profit sharing, employer 401(k) contribution, generous paid time-off and flexible spending accounts, plus so much more.The 2024 hiring base annual salary range for this position is $132,000 - $150,000.
