Job Summary and Purpose:
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of assigned activities associated with cycle counting, general maintenance, receiving, put away, picking, staging and shipment of orders within a GMP regulated environment.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
Receiving
Unloading:
Unload trailers as required placing product into staging area while verifying items, lots and quantities match packing list and or bill of lading documenting any damage or discrepancies on the packing list
and bill of lading with the driver's signature as confirmation.
Receiving:
Complete all receiving forms documenting correct items, lots and quantities for entry into inventory management system while noting any shortages or damage on the receiving form.
Put Away:
After Quality disposition, move all pallets to designated bin or staging locations documenting item, lots, quantities and locations on inventory transfer form for entry into inventory management system.
Order Processing
Order Picking:
Locate, verify and pull the correct items, lots and quantities from the designated locations based on the same information listed on the sales order picklist as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or designee. Communicate and resolve any discrepancies from the physical items, lots, quantities and locations compared to the sales order picklist with Warehouse Supervisor or designee before proceeding to place the pallet in the staging area.
Staging Orders:
Perform a second check verifying the correct item, lots and quantities match the sales order picklist. LTL shipments will be palletized and shrink wrapped with the appropriate labels applied. Small parcel shipments will require packaging with labels applied prior to shipment.
Shipping:
Complete the ship confirmation, print delivery notes in the inventory management system. Load onto trailers and schedule pickup for LTL or stage for daily FedEx pickup.
Cleaning /Organizing the Warehouse:
All warehouse team members will assist in cleaning, sweeping, and organizing the product in the warehouse.
Additional Responsibilities:
Will assist in cycle counting as well as other tasks assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or designee.

Customer knowledge
- Basic knowledge of the customer issues and processes to manage orders.
Transport knowledge
- Basic knowledge of ways of transportation
Warehousing knowledge
- Knowledge of warehousing processes and constraints to be able to adapt solutions.
Quality, Regulatory, Industrial, Finance
- Basic knowledge of quality, regulatory affairs, GMP and finance guidelines to understand the impacts on the warehouse management.
Qualifications:
Education - High school diploma or GED. One year or more related experience and/or training
Work Experience - 1-year related warehouse experience. Experience in a GMP or validated environment preferred.
Other- Previous experience in a GMP warehouse environment, forklift certification, inventory management systems (JDE).
Physical Requirements:
Able to read, write legibly and communicate in English
Visual inspection
Frequent repetitions of squatting, bending, and twisting
Frequent standing for long periods of time
Lift up to 60 pounds
Working Conditions:
Must be willing to perform duties in a temperature-controlled cGMP warehouse environment.
