Compensation : $53.53 - $53.53 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : 141007 Shift Description : Night shifts - 36 hours Travel Contract - Registered Nurse Oncology Racine, Wisconsin, United States - 53405 Job Title: Travel Contract - Registered Nurse - Oncology Number of positions: 1 Shift: Night shifts- 36 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 07/03/2023 Hourly pay: $53.53 OT: 1.5 Weekly Pay : $1,927 JOB DESCRIPTION Department: Chemotherapy Shift Timings: Morning Shift 08:00 - 17:30 Hours Roles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. QUALIFICATIONS Chemo Certification Must be able to administer chemotherapy Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care A graduate of a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license Minimum two years as an Oncology Registered Nurse Requirements: COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
