ResponsibilitiesOversee, design, and implement electrical engineering projectsExperience in the design of commercial building electrical systemsEnsuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawingsKnowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, principles, concepts, established procedures, and be able to work closely and communicate with architects, engineers, clients, and contractorsResolve issues and ensure work is completed according to specificationsResponsible for balancing project management and engineering tasksEstimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparationConducts maintenance and testing on electrical systemsElectrical engineering (power, lighting, systems, and low voltage) for the commercial built environmentAssisting in the procurement of new work including the development of client relations and participation in project interviewsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringPE license10+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and Project Management for commercial building projectsAbility to write technical reports and documentationAbility to perform all electrical engineering tasks associated with the projects from proposal, design and drafting, engineering calculations, cost estimates to client reviewsKnowledge of electrical equipment standards is requiredKnowledge of power distribution systems, lighting, and fire alarm systemsGood decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality, and attention to detailExcellent communication skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to work independently on project design tasksExperience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)U.S. Residency
