Detailed job description:
Advanced Endoscopist
3.5 days in the Endoscopy suite
· 10-12 advanced cases ERCP / EUS
· 5 general cases
1/2 day – General clinic
· 6-12 patients
1 day – Administration
Hepatologist
1 day – Transplant Clinic
· 10-15 patients
1 day – Hepatology Clinic
· 15-20 patients
2 day – Endoscopy Suite
· 12-14 general cases
1 day – Administration
General gastroenterologist
1 day – general GI Clinic
· 15-20 patients
3 days – Endoscopy Suite
· 12-14 general cases
1 day – Administration
· Excellent practice and administrative support
The incumbent in this position will engage in teaching, research, and clinical service in the field of General Internal Medicine ( GIM ), Gastroenterology Division. Participate in the teaching program of the Department. Engage in patient care activities consistent with the department’s needs and the faculty member’s interests. Assume administrative duties such as serving on institutional committees and assisting with the Internal Medicine Residency Program and/or Clerkship Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
· Board certified/eligible in Gastroenterology at time of employment
· Licensed in the state of GA by the time of employment
· DEA , NPI & prescriptive authority

It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
