​Title: Business Development DirectorLocation: Romania (Remote)TGRC is currently looking for a highly motivated Business Development Director to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to promote and sell solar PV modules in Romania, Hungary, and neighbouring countries.Responsibilities:Identify and engage with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential customers to understand their needs and promote our products and services effectively.Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, contract closure, and post-sales support.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments related to renewable energy and solar PV technology.Collaborate closely with internal teams including engineering, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to the European Sales VP to support strategic decision-making.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.Proven track record of success in business development, sales, and account management within the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar PV modules.Strong understanding of solar energy market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment in Europe, particularly in Romania and Hungary.Experience in managing complex sales cycles and driving large-scale projects from conception to completion.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Fluency in English and Romanian is required. Proficiency in Hungarian or other European languages is a plus.Willingness to travel frequently within Europe as needed.
