The Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator (PECC) works in collaboration with the nursing leadership team, providers, registered nurses, technicians, and pre-hospital emergency medical staff to plan, direct and evaluate the care provided to pediatric patients and their families. The PECC possesses expert clinical knowledge, which is applied systematically and continuously for collection of data in collaboration with multidisciplinary members to provide therapeutic care for the pediatric patient and/or family. The PECC communicates effectively and works collaboratively to facilitate evidence-based, standardized practice amongst the multi-disciplinary team. They are skilled in problem solving techniques, team development, and provide feedback to both staff and administration.Experience Required

At least 1 year of care coordination experience.Education Requirements

Graduate of NLN accredited School of NursingLicense/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS)Apply
