JOB SUMMARYPerforms a variety of clerical and patient care activities under the direct supervision of licensed Radiology staff.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAssist with patient care needs by using two patient identifiers in transporting and/or transferring of patients to and from exam areas and tables.Assist Radiologic Technologist in preparing exam rooms, equipment, and patient positioning for imaging procedures.Review patient charts and prior imaging as medically necessary in accordance to HIPPA in order to aid Radiology staff in the treatment of patients.Assist in emergency care.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER REQUIREMENTSMinimum requirement:Actively enrolled in an Accredited Radiologic Technology educational program. May perform tasks as limited per state licensing guidelines.Achieves and maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
