JOB SUMMARYProduces two/three dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of the heart and related structures for use by physicians in the study and diagnosis of heart disease.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSOverall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:Performs ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the following area: (Doppler flow analyses of the heart for use by physicians in the study and diagnosis of heart disease).Provides health care services by utilizing high frequency sound waves for medical purposes.Explains procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and reduce anxieties of patient. Maintains patient privacy throughout exam.Attends all guest relations, guaranteed patient satisfaction and mandatory training programs.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER REQUIREMENTSMinimum requirement:One year certificate from a college or technical school or six months related experience or training.Graduate of JRCERT accredited program, ARRT certified or equivalent.BLS certifications required.ARDMS or CCI registered.

Preferred qualifications:One to three years of acute care experience preferred
