Medical Editor• Adds reference annotations to final PDFs of promotional materials for OPDP submission• Highlights and back-annotates corresponding references for OPDP submission• Supplies missing reference annotations and/or references• Completes multiple projects under extremely tight deadlines• Helps proofread package inserts, medication guides, brief summaries, and other labeling documents• Translates complex medical information into patient-friendly language
Skills and Knowledge• Required:- Well versed in Adobe Acrobat Professional- Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical LMR review process- Ability to focus on detailed, repetitious tasks for long periods- Flexibility in meeting strict deadlines- Strong interpersonal communication skills-Ability to hyperlink references in Adobe Acrobat• Preferred:- Knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology and federal regulations governing pharmaceutical advertising- Experience in writing and/or editing professional promotional, med ed, or related materials- Pharma ad agency experience
Education and Experience Requirements• Bachelor's degree in English/journalism/mass communications or equivalent work experience• Minimum 5 years of referencing submissions for LMR and/or OPDP review• Minimum 5 years of proofreading experience, preferably in the medical/pharmaceutical field
