Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- St. Charles, IL

Responsibilities:Administer intranasal esketamine (Spravato) and monitor patients during mandated monitoring times Assess patients for appropriateness of Spravato treatment through patient consultsProvide Psychiatric medication management to existing and new patients Work in tandem with our Psychiatrist to conduct follow ups and recommend new patients for TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation)Facilitate drug and pregnancy tests as necessary Conduct consultations for Medication Management as well as routine follow up visitsPerform patient evaluations and assessments as necessaryTreatment plan developmentMonitoring progress of patients Communication with staff, family, and patientsCollaborate with clinical staff as well as other department leadsWill serve as the primary onsite provider for the Clinic utilizing a clinical assistant, collaborating with in house therapists, consulting with the clinic manager, and collaborating with our psychiatrist Actively work with leadership to recommend new modalities, implement new programs, and provide the most innovative care availableQualifications:PMHNP or Psychiatric certification preferred but will consider candidates with relevant experience Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or certified Physician Assistant with an applicable state licenseMust have an active license and DEA #Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved onesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare settingWhat we offer:Competitive CompensationComprehensive benefits package for full time employees.
