RN Labor & Delivery Lourdes Hospital 169 Riverside Drive Binghamton, NY 13906 Brianna Pompey, Nurse Manager Night Shift 7p-7a with every other weekend rotation

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans.Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Minimum Qualifications

Hospital unit : Women's and Children's Unit description: LDRPNurse to patient ratio : utilize AWHONN guidelinesPatient population:

35 weeks and above, post partum moms, newborns# beds per unit : 16 + 2 bed OBEDOther staff/resources on the unit:

Surgical TechCertifications required per unit : BLS/NRPQUALIFICATIONS

Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)National Institutes of Health (NIH)Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) CertificationSound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.The ability to stand for extended periods.Strong technical skills.Knowledge of medical terminologyPassionate about patient careRequires a minimum of two years of RN Labor & Delivery experience.Graduate from a fully accredited RN programActive unencumbered RN New York state licenseRequirements
