The Account Executive brings new restaurants onto the OpenTable dining network through a consultative sales approach within a revenue pod. Acting as a business leader and sales authority, they will handle and own their book of business/territory, run business meetings with restaurant owners and operators, and close deals based on varying needs.Key Responsibilities And Duties

Target, identify and sell OpenTable products to restaurants within an assigned territoryCultivate and build upon existing relationships with restaurants to serve as a trusted advisor to your market’s client baseDrive revenue by connecting with restaurateurs and creating opportunities that will make all parties more successfulPresent customized in-person and online demos of OpenTable productsChallenge customers to think differently about their businessDevelop and implement a strategic plan for the territory and build reliable forecastsStrategically overcome objectionsConsistently achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targetsApply your customers’ experience to continually evolve the sales process and our productProvide and present customer feedback to the Product and Marketing teamsUse Salesforce to stay organized, forecast sales activity, and process contractsUnderstand and adapt to ongoing product and technology developmentsRequired

This role is for the Brooklyn territory, and requires that you live within easy access of Brooklyn, with travel up to 50% in the local area.Please Apply If You

Have 2 plus years' experience in the sales and restaurant industryAre skilled at communicating new points of view to customers that reframe the way they view their businessHave the ability to follow economic and industry drivers and understand their implications on the restaurant business, including identifying new business opportunitiesAre knowledgeable about restaurants and can demonstrate this to talk about customer issues from multiple dimensionsHave excellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsHave experience using data to showcase business value during sales engagementsRestaurant management and/or sales experience is highly preferredPossess strong PC skills and overall technically savvyHave the capacity to learn new concepts quickly and independentlyAre proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and have experience with Thoughtspot and DAG toolsBenefits
