VP of Sales , you will help build and lead future sales function within Momofuku Goods as we continue to expand our CPG product lines.Compensation Band:

We encourage our team members to grow and learn, and offer many opportunities for personal and career development.ResponsibilitiesOwn retail sales channel from end-to-end, including P&L, sales strategy, account management, trade and promotion, and sales operations.Create and activate a clear, cohesive sales strategy going forward, focusing on key accounts in the natural and conventional channels where we have established distribution, and adding accounts in new and existing channels as needed to achieve growth goals.Build and lead future sales function within Momofuku Goods, including managing, coaching and directing existing team members and identifying future talent and resource requirements.Partner with Operations and Marketing teams to support volume, helping to create and activate an S&OP process, manage retail customer service and deliver.Establish extremely strong relationships with key retail and distributor partners.Achieve velocity goals by setting and managing promotion strategy by account.Onboard and manage required broker and distributor relationships to enable success. Leverage broker partnerships to build and execute annual plans across the grocery channel.Understand data analysis and possess the ability to identify and communicate retailer specific opportunities.Report on key metrics associated with the grocery channel, including revenue, profit, productivity, trade spend.Partner closely with the leadership to integrate tactical promotional, merchandising and shopper marketing plans within budget realities. Identify secondary and tertiary distribution/placement opportunities and help direct merchandising efforts.Help drive trade show and event strategy in support of sales goals.Actively maintain brand integrity and product quality within grocery accounts.Provide input into board meetings, annual strategy and planning processes, and regular forecasting efforts.Requirements8-10 years of strategic experience in a sales or retail execution role, ideally demonstrating proven experience growing a startup food or beverage brand. Category experience a plus.Knowledge of and strong relationships with retailers and distributors, particularly Kroger, Albertsons/Safeway, Ahold Delhaize, Whole Foods, Publix, Kehe, UNFI.Solid knowledge and experience with the data sources and analytics required to support such wholesale accounts, and an ability to drive a sales organization to success using this input.Demonstrated experience in guiding teams, across different geographies while developing talent and organizational capabilities.Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.Strong detail and organizational skills.Collaborative individual who thrives in a self-starter environment, is professional yet approachable, has clear leadership & influence skills, and thinks creatively but logically.Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.What's in it for you?Momofuku features an ever-changing, evolving menu, with limitless opportunities for creativity.
