The Litigation Associate Attorney will handle local and national accounts throughout California, independently manage a litigation caseload, conduct depositions, prepare witnesses for deposition and trial, and provide trial preparation and support. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, and/or aviation law. Duties:Manage a litigation caseload, including local and national accounts across California.Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.Review and analyze discovery requests, prepare responses and pleadings.Prepare court filings and manage service to counsel, including experience with e-filing.Provide trial preparation and support to senior attorneys.Maintain accurate time records for billing purposes. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in the state of California.5+ years of experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, and/or aviation law.Experience with motion practice and conducting depositions.Ability to work independently and in an organized and efficient manner.Superior research and writing skills.Ability to multitask and analyze complex legal matters. Education
Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in the state of California. Skills:Litigation management and trial preparation.Deposition preparation and conduct.Legal research and writing.Motion practice and pleadings drafting.Time management and organization.Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
