We have one of the broadest portfolios of controller intellectual properties developed from our deep understanding of NAND characteristics, which enables us to design both unique, highly optimized configurable IC plus related firmware controller platforms and complete turnkey controller solutions.Top Reasons to Work with Us1) Competitive Compensation ($170K - $190K base Depending on Experience)2) Comprehensive Benefits package including bonus & RSUs!3) The chance to join a global leader in developing NAND flash controllers for SSD!What You Will Be DoingWorking with customers to manage SSD debug and qualification requirements in collaboration with our Engineering Teams, driving technical design-in/-win, and debug hardware, firmware, and other platform-related barriers to adoption.Interfacing with customers and internal platform partners to resolve product issues and leverage those learning to shape future product (controller / Firmware) definition.Evangelizes technical benefits of our Enterprise controllers and various business models at the platform level; creates preference for our products within the platform; enables customer and end-user adoption of solutions; and supports ecosystem and tools enabling to drive controller solution adoption.Executing technical product qualificationsCreating customer-specific competitive analyses.Conducting end-user visits with OEM/ODM partners.Developing and presenting technical product content.Advocating technical customer needs to internal stakeholders.Driving internal teams to deliver to customer expectations.Working with the sales team to resolve technical questions.Participates in customers meetings and presentations, acting as technical adviser, consultant, analyst, and program manager for customer technical interactions in collaboration with our PM teams.Supports customer requests or events as they occur, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.The AE will work closely with customers and partners to establish strong relationships that deliver results and team business objectives in the data center / enterprise segments.Ability to summarize technical concepts, create collateral and deliver top-ranked technical training to both small and large audiences of technical domain experts.International travel required, up to 20%.Ability to help on system design review and analyze / solve the hardware system problem.What You Need for this PositionMust have a Bachelor's (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar with 5+ years of experience:Knowledge of configuring, optimizing, and testing server, storage system, or other complex system products.Working with suppliers and/or customers to clarify requirements, manage expectations, and resolve complex engineering or customer engagement challenges.Compute and/or Storage System hardware and/or software using both Windows and Linux based operating systems in the data center / enterprise.HDD/SSD systems/protocols and/or SAS/SATA/PCIe (NVMe).Debugging Platform/System issues that may be hardware, firmware, driver, BIOS, and/or application related.Familiarity with Datacenter architecture and interfaces, PCIe Switches, RAID controllers, HBAs, Expanders, and JBODs/JBOFs.Knowledge of SSD hardware and firmware architecture.Familiar with the electrical system design and PCB layout philosophy of SSDs.Microsoft and Linux datacenter OS debug experience.Fluent in reading and writing Mandarin preferred.So, if you are a Sr. SSD Applications Engineer, please apply today! or send an updated copy of your resume to Mike.Vandenbergh@CyberCoders.com for immediate consideration!BenefitsAnnual merit increasesYear-end bonusRSU for eligible employeesInvention and Patent Awards401(k) Employer MatchingLength of Service AwardsWe offer comprehensive health insurance plans for eligible employees and dependents.
