Kardex Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer for Cincinnati, Ohio area.The software engineer is a critical part of the software team who is responsible for the development of the Warehouse Execution System (WES) named FulfillX by Kardex product to the approved software specifications. He/she will work closely with the product team to design and develop the scope of work for the product and set up and/or customize the software to meet the requirements without much guidance.The candidate will work closely with the [Quality Assurance Engineer] to develop and debug test conditions for the implementation that was executed. He/she will also support the product and project through testing and ramp up phases of new releases in order to resolve bugs and environmental factors.About FulfillX by KardexFulfillX is an industry-leading and modular software solution that manages material flow and warehouse management processes faster and more efficiently. FulfillX’s modular capabilities allow users to quickly integrate and deploy software that improve operational processes.Your responsibilities:Involved in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions with minimal guidanceCollaborates with the team and lead smaller projectsEnsures adherence to coding standards and best practicesAble to take requirements from an SA/Azure and break it into smaller tasks to complete deliverablesAbility to document all changes being made and update based off the implementationPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standardsTravel domestically and possibility internationally, total travel estimate is 20%Support the startup of the new companyYour profile:Business or technical degree in computer science or a similar field is preferredExcellent communication skills2+ years’ experience with C# software engineering experienceExperience with HTTP, Javascript (REACT), JSON, and Node JavascriptExperience with SQL, SOAP, API, XML, RESTExperience with API integrationProven portfolio of projectsExperience supporting and developing Warehouse control systems is preferredExperience with coordinating and collaborating with cross functional teams through multiple pieces of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processesNote: With your active application via LinkedIn, you agree to the usage of your LinkedIn profile and your personal data during our internal recruiting process.
