Job Overview:

Envoy Technologies is seeking a Director of Sales who will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth by selling our electric car share service to top commercial real estate clients, especially in the multi-family space, but also in hospitality and workplace communities. The Director of Sales will report to the CEO and work closely with other departments to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's goals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge: A seasoned expert in Real Estate, Sales, and Cleantech sectors, adept in communication. Enthusiastic about sustainability and well-versed in EV market trends. Proficient in Customer Retention Management, possessing a robust operational and technical grasp of sales force.

Skills:

Strong technical understanding of Salesforce/HubSpot software.Ability to build and manage a team from the ground up.Ability to assess prospective sales opportunities & create detailed proposals for long term business relationships.Strong verbal and written communication.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in the multifamily, hospitality, and workplace marketsBuild and manage a high-performing sales team by hiring, training, and coaching sales representativesEstablish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the target marketsCollaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute lead generation campaigns and eventsDevelop and manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadershipDrive contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfactionInitiate cold calls and subsequent sales follow-ups with prospective clientsStay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive offerings to inform sales strategies and product developmentResearch target markets, properties, and rebate incentives to gain insights into requirements and how Envoy can deliver its services effectivelyParticipate in a range of pitch meetings and marketing events to facilitate the progression and successful conclusion of deals.Supervise the progression of deals until the execution of Master Service Agreements (MSA’s) in collaboration with our legal department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets3+ years of experience building and managing a sales teamExperience selling to commercial real estate clients, especially in the multifamily space, but also into hospitality and workplaceKnowledge of electric carshare or sustainable transportation solutions is a plusExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Comfortable with occasional travel.
