About the team
FIS are on a really exciting journey re-engineering our core payments platform to be more cost effective, scalable and cloud ready utilizing the latest cutting-edge technologies. This journey will require the very best engineering talent to get us there as it's not just a technical change, it's a cultural change as well.
What you will be doing
As a Scrum Master, you will be a servant leader and help the team become high-performing. You will be promoting good behaviours such that the team becomes a self-organizing, cross-functional team producing high quality features. You will promote continuous improvement throughout the product delivery cycle.
Supporting the teams by removing impediments to protect iteration goals is of paramount importance. Helping the Product Owner and facilitating iteration ceremonies will be key responsibilities too.
You will promote SAFe ways of Working:
Exhibit the behaviours of a lean agile leader and helps the team embrace the SAFe core values.Reinforce the Built in Quality practise and the concept of WIP limits.Help the team focus on the agreed program increment objectives when planning iterations.Coordinate with the systems team and other shared services across the company.Facilitate the readiness for the agile release train activities, including the ART Sync, PI Planning, System Demo and the Inspect & Adapt.
Guide and coach the team and organisation to follow agile/scrum practises.Lead the effort to relentlessly improve every aspect of the work by teaching problem solving techniques and helping the team become better problem solvers themselves.Build a safe and trusting environment where conflicts can be managed in a healthy way without fear of blame, retribution or being judged using a servant leadership style.Promote a problem-solving mindset in all team members.

Strong Scrum Master background.Excellent communication skills with ability to make yourself understood.Experience of managing and delivering products in an agile environment.Strong motivation and facilitation skills.Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.Strong conflict management and negotiation skills.People management skills.
