Accounting Manager

Located in Redmond WA, SystImmune Inc. is a bio-pharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of cancer through developing novel therapeutic bi-specific, and tri-specific antibodies, as well as antibody-drug conjugates (ADC's). Our objective is to create biologics that work through systematic intervention on the solid tumor micro-environment, to either directly attack the tumor and/or to activate the immune system to attack the tumor.Major responsibilities:
Oversee the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, general ledger, and account reconciliations.Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring alignment with GAAP and current financial legislation.Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Coordinate with external auditors for half-year and year-end financial audits.Develop and maintain robust internal controls, preparing and recommending accounting policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by keeping up-to-date with legislation.Support all areas of operations as requested by management, with the flexibility to adapt responsibilities based on the individual's skills and professional development interests.Qualifications:
3-5 years or more of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance, with experience in both fields preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP.Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or other equivalent certifications highly preferred.Previous experience with a Big Four accounting firm highly valued, indicating a strong background in accounting practices and standards.Understanding of US tax regulations, particularly in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.Bilingual abilities in English and Mandarin are highly advantageous, facilitating close collaboration with our parent company's finance department.Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.Diversity and Inclusion:
