Overview:
Brief Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Infrastructure Technician to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability to support our manufacturing operations.Responsibilities:Position Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, viruses, and data breaches.Conduct regular network performance analysis and provide recommendations for improvements.Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to support network-related projects and initiatives.Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network issues and best practices.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in network technology.
Qualifications:Experience/Requirements:Required:3 years hands-on experience implementing network infrastructure, project management, design, configuration, installation, and maintenance.Experience implementing and maintaining a Microsoft Windows server environment.Strong willingness to learn and grow your skillset.Ability to take guidance and work in a group environment to achieve goals.B.S. Computer Science, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degreePreferred:Familiarity with Scripting Languages
Familiarity working with industrial processes / networks.
Familiarity managing a VMWare infrastructure and Fortinet.
Familiarity with SANs and ISCSI
CCNA or CCNP
