Sr. Principal Supplier Management Technical Lead.
This position is located in
San Diego, CA.Responsibilities include:Identifies and controls all subcontract management activities and processes that integrate supplier interdependencies throughout the program's life cycle.Fosters collaboration among team members and between teams.Applies knowledge, insights, and understanding of business and/or financial concepts, tools, and processes to support Subcontract decisions, actions, and performance corrections.Identifies and addresses subcontract impacts through a proactive systematic approach and promptly resolve conflicts across all levels of the subcontract.Supports and monitors a Technical Performance Baseline, to compare key subcontract technical performance measures, assess product status, and take appropriate action to maintain conformance with the baseline.The ability to understand elements of the Design, Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test processes.Identify and address impacts through a systematic and proactive approach to Risk and Opportunity Management.Communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves issues across all functional elements within the SMT, including the supplier.Manages and balances communications with stakeholders through organized and disciplined processes ensuring that Subcontract information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored, and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets Subcontract and stakeholder needs while protecting the company's contractual rights.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors of Science Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 9 years of experience in Engineering; OR a Masters of Science Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 7 years of experience in Engineering; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 4 years of experience in Engineering.Active, in-scope DoD Secret ClearancePractical experience working in a lab setting and understand hardware, simulations and licensing structures.Supplier Management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelors in Engineering.Active, in-scope Top Secret clearance.Practical experience working in a lab setting and understand hardware, simulations and licensing structures.Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and make decisions that impact the organization's credibility, operations, and services.Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment.Salary Range:
$133,000 - $199,600Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
