Fork Truck Operator - Core Room 1st Shift

There is an opening for a fork truck operator on 1st shift in the Core Room within our Foundry department.
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing fork truck service to Core Room Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Operate fork truck in a safe and efficient manner.Inspect fork truck daily.Maintain daily fork truck report.Transport needed supplies to the appropriate areas for production.Assist with other Core Room responsibilities as required.Wear required safety equipment.Follow all applicable procedures and instructions.Air Set: Transport core boxes for production.Take cores to oven.Core Room Finishing: Transport finished cores to molding areas.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
On-the-job training for a minimum of two weeks.
