Job Description:Our client located in Providence, RI is looking for a Project Manager to join their team, they are implementing both HCM and Finance ERP modules in Workday. The ERP Project Manager will work with the implementation vendor and Project Management team to manage the implementation of Workday's HCM and Finance modules. The Project Manager monitors the ERP Program Management Plan, including project objectives and success criteria, deliverables, role/responsibilities/contact information, document control methodology, and risk, cost, schedule, and quality management plans. They work with multiple project managers and business analysts to ensure clear documentation of business, functional, technical, and performance requirements that are understood without ambiguity. Specifically, the Project Manager works with the Finance team on the implementation of the Finance module of Workday's ERP HCM and Finance modules.
Responsibilities
Maintain master documentation of overall system functionalityManage multiple workstreams with multiple vendors and stakeholdersWork with multiple project managers to ensure timely and coordinated delivery of deliverables and various portions of the projectMaintain integrated, master scheduleMonitor timely completion of tasks by vendorsDocument the application support procedures for internal and external usersMonitor the documentation and quality of business processes and workflows developedEnsure comprehensive documentation is developed and maintained by the vendorReview deliverables provided by vendors to ensure quality of deliverables prior to approvalsEstablish and maintain a RAID logEstablish and maintain a RACI matrix along with the vendors and the Project Management teamCreate and update weekly status reportsDocument and report on changes in scope of the project and ensure change control processCommunicate delays and obstacles that may compromise or delay the projectProvide periodic updates to Project Management and Vendor Management teams on vendor performance and deliverablesManage budget and financial process of the programSchedule and facilitate project meetings and distribute meeting meetings, in coordination with vendorOversee configuration of system per business specificationsOversee testing and validation of the system to ensure successful completion of configuration, regression, performance testing as well as planning of User Acceptance TestingEnsure vendor resolution of defects through the testing phaseWork with Change Management and Agency Readiness teams to ensure training, delivery and implementation of the ERP projectRequired
5+ years of experience with management or IT consulting firm; or similar industryDemonstrated experience on working on large implementation projects with multiple vendorsExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentDemonstrated leadership managing peopleAbility to elicit cooperation from senior management in multiple agenciesExceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and time management skills (ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines)Experience in project management tools (like JIRA/Confluence) and collaboration tools (like Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint) preferredProject Management certification a plusAbout Delphi-USDelphi-US is a national recruiting firm based in Newport, Rhode Island.
