Project DescriptionThe Workday Project Manager will work with the implementation vendor and Project Management team to manage the implementation of Workday's HCM and Finance modules. The Project Manager monitors the ERP Program Management Plan, including project objectives and success criteria, deliverables, role/responsibilities/contact information, document control methodology, and risk, cost, schedule, and quality management plans. They work with multiple project managers and business analysts to ensure clear documentation of business, functional, technical, and performance requirements that are understood without ambiguity. Specifically, the Project Manager works with the Finance team on the implementation of the Finance module of Workday's ERP HCM and Finance modules.
Qualifications5+ years of experience
with management or IT consulting firm; or similar industry.3 or more years of experience with WorkdayRecent HCM and Payroll implementation on a tier one ERP solution.Demonstrated experience on working on large implementation projects with multiple vendors.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Demonstrated leadership managing people.Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management in multiple agencies.Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and time management skills (ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines).Experience in project management tools (like JIRA/Confluence ) and collaboration tools (like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint) preferred.Prior State or Government experience a plus.Project Management certification a plus
