Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:Provide strategic direction and leadership to the construction team to meet project objectives, including schedule, and quality standards.Oversee and manage multiple construction projects concurrently, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and according to company standards.Collaborate with Project Executives to align project strategies with the company's overall goals and objectives.Team Management:Directly manage and provide leadership to Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and Project Engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.Set clear expectations, goals, and performance standards for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations.Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and promote professional growth.Project Planning and Execution:Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality and safety standards.Collaborate with Project Executives to develop project strategies and identify potential risks and mitigation plans.Monitor project progress and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.Client and Stakeholder Relations:Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.Act as a point of contact for client communication, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions with external parties.Experience:
10 years of multi-family new construction experience (remodeling experience does not count toward this).Experience with large wood framed construction projects, including podiums, wraps and garden style, garden). with values in excess of $60M.Experience with running regional projectsOversee assigned field staff.Effectively collaborate with all company departments and personnel.Prior working experience with governmental agencies; (HUD, FEMA, GLO, etc.).Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in construction management, engineering, or related field.OSHA 30 certification, CPR & First Aid certification.Knowledge of Green Building Techniques.Extensive knowledge of building systems.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.Computer skills in MS Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and CPM scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera or similar).Good negotiating skills.Ability to respond effectively and diplomatically to sensitive issues.Ability to maintain professionalism in times of adversity.Ability to be discreet with confidential information.Benefits:
