Superintendents for the Texas area. As a

Superintendent , you will be directly responsible for all aspects of assigned projects and includes managing 2-4 projects / crews simultaneously. Each crew will be completing daily activities on roadway, highway, and bridge projects. This position requires travel depending on the location of the project.SCR

For over 20 years, SCR has been a leader in this market in Texas and continues to grow using innovation and experience.Job responsibilities to include but not limited to:Day to Day Supervision of assigned projectsOn-going project site visits includingMonthly Safety Audits, equipment maintenance and usage, work quality, production inspections and reviewEnsure superintendents are turning in daily production and time on time and correctly and review and approved daily production reports Assist Project Coordinator with review of monthly estimates.Generate Project JSA's and Equipment / Material SheetsAssist Project Coordinator with Completion of Project Notes as requiredReview / Complete Material Take-Offs as neededMaterial Purchasing as neededVacation Fill-In'sEmployee Training as directedProject reviews with SuperintendentsImplementation of company policies and procedures as directedTwo Week Look-A-Ahead Schedule Updates and reviewsPre-construction meetingsClient and Employee interfacingCrew reviews as directedParticipate in Project Close-Out MeetingsREQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or general education degreeA minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry with 3 years Rehabilitative Highway constructionMinimum of 5 years as a Foreman or SuperintendentMinimum of 5 years as a General ForemanFamiliarity with equipment, materials and methods used in the construction industryAbility to communicate effectively to convey informationMust be proficient in reading and understand project specific documentsMust be able to organize records and prepare work and time reportsMust be able to understand and efficiently follow directionsMust be able to work under pressure and within established timelinesAbility to work with management to resolve any issues that arise on a projectMust be knowledgeable of safety procedures and practicesMust be accustomed to working outdoors and in all weather conditionsMust be able to perform physical activities that may require climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending and handling materials, equipment and toolsMust pass pre-employment drug screen and E-VerifyMust hold a valid driver's license with a clean recordMust be willing and able to travel and work out of townWhat we offer:
