DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe Hematology & Oncology teams at Samaritan Health Services specialize in diagnosing and treating adult cancer patients using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy and biological therapy as well as treating a range of hematologic conditions. We educate patients about their illness, the treatment options and provide supportive care during treatment and into survivorship.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN Licensure required upon submission.One (1) year nursing experience in a specialty clinic or acute care setting required. Oncology nursing experience preferred.Healthcare Provider AHA BLS required.OCN or equivalent certification required.NOTE: Per the manager - The traveler chosen/contracted would likely be in Corvallis for the first 2-3 weeks for training, and then deployed out to Newport/Lincoln City for the remainder of their contract.
