Overview

Allied Wire & Cable, a GCG Company, is currently seeking driven, goal-oriented Account Managers to join our Customer Success team!

As an Account Manager, you'll drive revenue growth and customer retention by providing top-tier, responsive service to new and existing accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment. You'll ensure customer success by promptly addressing order requests and customer questions, providing detailed quotes, and contributing to a superior quote-to-cash process.

You'll deliver on account plans as provided by sales leadership by identifying and pursuing cross, up, and repeat sales opportunities to capture additional business from current customers and prospects.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement upon completion of product, systems, and process training. While in office, you will work from Allied Wire and Cable offices in either Collegeville, PA, Bedford, NH, or Pewaukee, WI.

What you'll doDeliver revenue and margin targets at named accountsContinuously develop relationships with customer stakeholders, understand primary business objectives, and recommend value deliverablesCommunicate with Customer Success Manager and Territory Sales Managers as it relates to pursuing new agreements and increasing customer wallet-shareMaintain and manage a pipeline of opportunities, pursuing revenue growth opportunities with a sense of urgency and a strong customer service orientationGenerate formal quotes, follow-ups, and actively document results in CRMCommunicate customer activity, opportunity status, and plan progress to inside sales managerEngage internal stakeholders to support and create customer solutionsExperience in sales process and take the lead in sales engagementsAll other duties as assignedWhat you'll bring

High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred3+ years proven business to business sales experienceHistory of success maintaining and developing customer relationshipsProficiency with CRM software; Salesforce desiredSelf-starter and able to work efficiently under pressureProficiency with the Microsoft Office suiteAbility to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written formAbility to communicate with a diverse population of peopleAbility to work in team environmentAbility to think critically and analyze issues based on dataCollaborates effectively to get things done, building and nurturing strong relationshipsWilling and able to embrace and adapt to changeMust be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentAttention to detailWorks independently with minimal supervisionWhat we offer
