Job Title: Data Engineer III [Senior Data Engineer]

Location: Tulsa, OK (Fully Onsite)

Salary Range: $125,000-$145,000

Job Type: Full-time

Overview:

We are assisting a large enterprise company here in Tulsa with finding a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join their team. This role is essential for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and business intelligence models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with extensive experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SQL, and PySpark.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development:

Design and implement automated data pipelines to extract, cleanse, and transform data for business use.Connect to diverse data sources such as flat files, DB2, SQL Server, and API calls to ensure data suitability and integration.

Data Quality and Monitoring:

Develop automated processes for data quality monitoring and alerts.Consolidate diverse data sources into a single source of truth for various business entities.

Business Intelligence:

Model and publish data sets for user access through reporting and business intelligence technologies.Utilize ETL, T-SQL, data profiling, MDM tools, SSAS, and Power BI for data modeling and analysis.

Technical Leadership:

Lead efforts in designing scalable and flexible data solutions that meet business needs and adhere to standards.Act as a technical owner of specific software products, ensuring technological performance and managing technical debt.

Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide 24x7 technical support to resolve data-related issues and develop solutions to minimize recurrence.Document support processes and gather feedback to enhance product development and user satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Required:

5-8 years of progressive experience in programming complex data solutions.Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SQL, and PySpark.Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with various IT concepts and practices.

Preferred:

Experience with SSIS, Python, and Azure Synapse.Knowledge of additional programming languages and data tools used in the industry.

Skills and Competencies:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team using repeatable processes and standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong time management and organizational skills.Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, or related discipline preferred.
