Position Summary

The Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Lead is responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analytical functions in our organization. The role involves collaborating with various departments to develop budgets, forecast financial performance, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role has no direct reports.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expendituresMonitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected varianceGenerate project budget reports and lead review meetingsOversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Modeling toolsAd-Hoc Reporting and AnalysisQuarterly and Monthly Financial reportsImplement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reportsImprove performance by evaluating processes to drive efficienciesDevelop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiativesAnalyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposesSupporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysisPrepare presentations to Senior Management TeamAssist Finance team with month end close proceduresAny other work as directed by supervisorQualifications and Required Skills:

1. Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.2. Professional Certifications:

MBA is a plus.3. Work Experience:

6+ years of experience in FP&A.Previous experience within the manufacturing or related industry is mandatory4. Technical Skills:

Strong financial knowledgeAbility to work with large quantity of data and transform it into management reportingExperience working with SQL and ERP Systems (IFS a plus)Ability to work effectively under deadlinesAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint SkillsAbility to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivatedHighest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organizedAbility to effectively communicate with both internal and external customersExperience with consolidation softwarePhysical Demands:
