Our client is seeking an API Sr. Product Owner who is a tried-and-true product person comfortable managing complex digital product experiences and/or platforms (with an API focus) with moderate to strong technical aptitude.

DescriptionThe Sr. Digital Product Owner, API Products will play a key lead role in accelerating digital business transformation strategy via the discovery, development, and delivery of powerful digital customer experiences. The U.S. Target Operating Model underpins this strategy and requires high-potential, effective product leaders to pave the way in redefining how we deliver superior value to customers and capture new value from a rapidly evolving financial services landscape. To accomplish this, the product management organization must take the lead in re-imagining the digital customer journey and user experience by exhibiting a customer-first, data-driven mindset.

Key Accountabilities:

Collaborate with experience management, marketing, and business unit leaders across the company to build powerful B2B(2C) experiences for the Partners, Dealers, and End Customers.Help build API products to lay the foundation for global API-first strategy.Support the advancement of our API library, the deployment of these solutions and the maintenance of them.Collaborate and work cross-functionally with business unit leaders, experience management, and marketing to discover, define, and deliver powerful product experiences and features.Work with multiple Agile Scrum teams (experience teams + API colleagues) to define meaningful feature specs and refined user stories that ensure we're continuously delivering value.Play a key role in the quarterly product planning and road mapping to effectively plan what must be done to achieve the digital future.Effectively communicate with business unit leaders across the organization on product plans, reporting, and business cases for new product/feature requests.Work with other product leaders to shape the vision in order to evolve into an API-first, platform-based company.Support the development of APIs including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills

Understands the customer problem(s), the vision, and knows how to work backwards to roadmap a plan for moving forward.Demonstrable experience working within and excelling at delivering superior customer value in an agile scrum / SAFe development model.Experience managing an API platform, creating developer experiences (DX) ensuring the information accurately reflects functionality in a clear, consistent and intuitive way.Comfort in navigating complex business systems to find the best path for delivering value.The ability to communicate with and share a meaningful story with leaders at different levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and get everyone focused on the few things that will generate the most value for the customers and for the business.Ability to work cross-functionally with Experience management team (UX, CX) to incorporate user feedback in the design and development cycle.Applied knowledge with customer-oriented product development and design methodologies (Lean Startup, IDEO HCD, Design Thinking).Engaged and supported external business partners in the deployment and maintenance stages.10+ years' experience as a digital product manager/owner delivering great user experiences in a matrixed organization with a complex business.5+ years working with and/or owning API products.Product Owner / Product Manager certification (along with applied knowledge) is a plus.Familiar with Oracle financials.
