Fluoropolymer Resources LLC (FRL) is currently seeking a dedicated results driven Plastic Recycler. FRL is the global leader in reprocessing of melt processable fluoropolymers, as well as the distribution of virgin fluoropolymer resin. Position Summary:
The Plastic Recycler will be responsible for ensuring all plastics are being sorted, shredded on a timely basis with attention to detail being extremely important. This position reports to the Plant Manager and will have growth opportunities for a dedicated and results driven individual.
Responsibilities and Duties:
•Complies with safety rules and regulations on an everyday basis.
•Accurately picks & sorts multiple components of plastic materials.
•Sorts & separates material by type of product SKU # and places product in designated location.
•Safely and efficiently operates machines to shred and grind plastic material.
•Regular operation of a powered industrial truck is required
•Regular attendance is an essential function of this position, including arriving at your workstation on time at the start of your shift and after rest and meal periods.
•Quality of work is key to ensure all material is separated and identified properly.
•Will require working knowledge of the ERP system and specific functions needed to complete the job.
•Achieves production rates as set forth by manager, supervisor or lead.
•May act as a subject matter expert or trainer for a small cell of employees during peak periods.
•Maintains housekeeping in accordance with company standards.
•Assists, when necessary, with other production and/or warehouse related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
•At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing plant is ideal.
•Previous powered industrial truck operation desired
Compensation
•Salary Description: $20 to $23 / Hour
