Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design, test, and implement key hardware components which support applications for the robot.Responsibilities:Design jigs, fixtures and tools which support key robot applications in 3D CADDesign and assemble systems which help with robot manufacturing and integrationGenerate accurate 2D drawings using GD&T per ASME Y14.5Build test fixtures for our reliability and testing teamsInspect first articles, build test stands, and continuously support applicationsRequirements: 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineeringBachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar fieldExpert in using 3D CAD software to design parts with complex geometryExperience designing and building prototypesAbility to write and maintain clean documentation for your design processExperience with electromechanical integration, such as sensors, motors, motor drivers, wire harnesses, and communication busesBonus Qualifications: Experience working with contract manufacturersCATIA V6 Experience
