We are currently seeking candidates for Electrical Engineer/Technician based out of our headquarters in Davenport, IA. A large portion of our aggregate processing plants are designed and fabricated in house.Additionally, we maintain an electrical design and maintenance group to support our aggregate operations.

Major responsibilities include:
Work with Allen Bradley products (ControlLogix, RSView, FactoryTalk, PanelView, etc.) and other major suppliers and electrical control products.Work with Allen Bradley (and other's) electrical switchgear components.Work with computer related software applications (AutoCad, Visual Basic, MS Office Applications).Have a strong understanding of associated networks (ControlNet, Ethernet, Wireless Ethernet, etc.).Design of electrical power distribution systems, programming PLC, DCS and SCADA applications, configuring thin client server applications, configuring process based historical databases, tuning control loops, and providing control system startup services.Preparing the documentation that other personnel will use to properly construct, maintain and troubleshoot the electrical and control systems you design.Updating electrical documents to maintain their accuracy as modifications are made to the plant systems.Direct and supervise company personnel, or third party contractors, installing electrical and control systems at company locations, as needed.Recommend improvements for process control systems and associated equipment.Aid in troubleshooting electrical and control systems, networks, and computers, in an effort to strive for optimal efficiency of plant operations at all times.Overnight travel, as needed, to support our 35+ operations in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri.Follow Mine Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations, working in tandem with the company Electrical Engineer.The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years background experience in electrical engineering control systems design, maintenance and troubleshooting.Self-motivation with a strong ability to work independently or as part of a team.An attitude of continuous improvement.An ability to utilize an objective approach to problem solving.Excellent communication skills - listening, verbal, written (report writing), and presentation.A valid driver's license with good driving record.
